To solve diverse development challenges alongside the equally diverse team of stakeholders and collaborators at Big Sky Resort, Trever puts every corner of his development experience to work—while making sure his efforts fit within the proven framework of operations on which the resort has already built its success.

Big Sky is a constantly evolving entity and Trever’s role is ongoing, so the best sign of success is keeping the resort’s upward momentum rolling. Most recently, Trever secured critical employee housing for Big Sky Resort by modifying entitlements, solving a longstanding community concern. Additionally, the resort is currently breaking ground on the Homestead Chalets, adding 11 upscale properties to its roster.

Haystack works as Big Sky Resort’s primary planning consultant, offering development services, entitlement consulting and land use strategies alongside a cast of industry professionals working both within and beyond the resort. Notable partners include Gaston Engineering.
